The members of One Voice pause to celebrate the life of our dear sister, Melanie Wilkinson. Melanie passed on Monday, February 23, 2009. She is best known as the soloist for "I Know I've Been Changed," which was the group's most requested song. Melanie's voice stirred the soul, touched the spirit and comforted the hearts of all who were privileged to hear her. She is featured on several of One Voice's most popular songs including, "God Is Real", "Somebody's Knocking at Your Door", "Hold to God's Unchanging Hand", "Everybody Talkin' 'Bout Heaven Ain't Goin'", and "I Have Decided to Follow Jesus." Her zeal for the Lord and her joy for the ministry of music will truly be missed. However, we take comfort in the fact that "the angels in heaven done signed her name."

One Voice is an a cappella gospel ensemble of the Eastside Church of Christ is Austin, Texas.
Formed in 2001, One Voice has inspired, uplifted and wowed audiences throughout
the country. People of all ages have fallen in love with the group's unique
blend of traditional gospel music, original compositions and contemporary
gospel, producing a sound that is truly One Voice.
"One Lord. One Love. One Voice." is not only the title of the group's debut
album, but is also the purpose of the One Voice. Their much anticipated
sophomore project, "The One Voice Experience", features original compositions
and arrangements by members of One Voice.
The group strives to magnify the One Lord through their lives and lyrics,
exemplify One Love through ministry to humanity, and unify all as One Voice
through the power of the Spirit.
